Through a highly selective and juried process, we invite artists to Erehwon Retreat and into our community. The basis for admission by an application is professional achievement or promise of achievement.
Residencies are offered for a maximum of four weeks at no cost to those accepted; all artists are responsible only for their transportation to and from Tampa and their food costs during their stay.
How to apply
First-time applicants should submit an application form (PDF or online form preferred?), curriculum vitae, and samples of their work. After downloading, please print the form, fill it out, and mail it to us at the address on the bottom of the form. If you wish to have your materials returned, you should also enclose a stamped and addressed envelope.
An artist who has applied for an Erehwon Residency before should remind us of the last date of application and, if within the past year, it is not necessary to fill in a new application.
The selection for Erehwon Artist Residencies is juried by established artists, Seminole Heights educators, and members of the Hillsborough County Arts Council.
