Relax under sprawling laurel oaks and 90-year-old camphor trees. Take a cool dip in the Gulf of Mexico or Sulphur Springs Pool. Pick up the pace a little and go canoeing on the Hillsborough River, take our historic house tour by bike, or enjoy a round of golf. Take off on a day trip to local attractions or annual events, such as the famous Plant City Strawberry Festival.
From coast to coast, this beautiful land unfolds in a spectacle of white beaches, rolling hills, citrus groves, and incredible fresh water springs and a variety of activities to enjoy—fishing, boating, hunting, camping, to name a few—along with a rich historical heritage dating back to 1513 when Ponce de León first explored Florida.
It’s a vacation where you can be at most of Central Florida’s tourist attractions within an hour. DisneyWorld is just an hour and half from your home away from home.
Whenever I travel, I love exploring the local flavors of the places I visit. It’s often the reason I travel in the first place. From fabulous little bistros to historically interesting sites to delicious regional wine and cuisine, there’s a world of possibilities out there.
