Meet the Proprietor & Your Host
Following service in the US Navy as a navigator, your host enjoyed a management and fundraising career in the performing arts including landmark organizations The Guthrie Theatre, The New York City Center Joffrey Ballet, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Cincinnati Ballet Company and DanceAspen. He continued to serve in capacities of management and fundraising consulting until his retirement in 2015. This combination of management and the arts made him curious about history and people. He’s been a sailor since turning a teenager, and armed with his Naval service he and his family spent a year sailing all of the Great Lakes, the Oswego & Erie Canals, the Hudson River, and the route of Columbus 500 years later. Since reaching semi-retirement, he has hiked in over 100 Florida State or County parks and preserves. With his eclectic worldly and local Florida knowledge, he assures a unique experience.
